Colin trained to
teach English and Drama 25 years ago and has been teaching ever since! After
several other posts, he moved to Boston Spa in 1981. He is now a deputy
headteacher, whose teaching duties include some General Studies and PHSE, as
well as English.
'Change' is Colin's particular educaional interest, and he has initiated or been
involved in a number of innovative projects prior to Global Connections. In 1989
he set up a school company to produce CD-ROM learning packages, winning a grant
from the Manpower Service Commission's Learning Technologies Unit. Previous
international projects include working with Greek partners to produce a Greek
learning package, an environmental project with a Swedish school, a Viking
project, and a regular summer school visit from Italian students. |
