BettyJane Meni is
the co-ordinator of the International Executive House programme at Washington
Irving High School. (The school is organised on a House system, and
International Executive House focuses on global and multicultural humanities,
and foreign language studies.)
BettyJane has been an English teacher since 1984 and has taught at all levels
from remedial to honours, including the International Baccalaureate. (She also
holds a School District Administration qualification.)
Using Information Technology in the classroom and student-centred learning are
two of BettyJane's particular interests. She was previously in charge of the
school's Computer Literacy programme, and has trained other teachers in using IT
to raise the reading levels of their students. |
